Being super excited about the result is weird though. We all agree on that.

I used to think it was kind of trashy to get knocked up unplanned and outside of marriage.... I still think that, but I used to think it, as well.

I personally find junior high boys to be the biggest shitheads on the planet and I want nothing to do with them, JMO

worse than high school girls? nope.

They have like periods and stuff  :Yuck:

Reason #354 Not to Have Kids: Have to decide whether to circumcise if it is a boy.

Of all the hard choices involved in raising kids, that would be about the least difficult decision on my list.

Has nothing to do with my personal experience. I have friends on Facebook discussing whether it is genital mutilation or whether it is good for "health reasons".

And in that article, the parents have been arguing over it since before the kid was born....and now the judge says the mother has to let them do it...and the kid is 4 and a half years old.

It is number 354, so I didn't say it was a top reason.

Mrs. Gooch it really isn't a big deal.  I watched both my sons get snipped and they didn't even wake up from their nap.

It was a big point of contention for my wife and I for our boys.

When we found out we were having a girl this time, she said that she's actually relieved that we don't have to make the decision again.

In the interest of full disclosure, they screwed up my youngest son's, and we had to go to a specialist when he was eight months old to get it fixed.  Everything is fine now, but it was a pretty big ordeal.

Didn't God say to do it?....He was like "I got Abraham to be willing to kill his son, now let's see if I can get a bunch of people to cut off part of their penises."

I honestly can't say why we did it.  Just because everyone does, I guess.  Being a first time dad, when my oldest was born, I didn't want him getting made fun of in the locker room or anything, and feeling weird, since we live in the Midwest.  We were told it decreases chances of infection, etc.   Then when the second was born, we did it because the first child was.

If I had to do it over again, I probably wouldn't have it done.  I'm just glad that we don't have to deal with it again.

Even if you get past all of the bullshit religious, sexuality, masculinity, and folklore health issues, you still have the good, old circumcised American male thinking that there's necessarily something wrong if he and his son don't have matching penises. Personally, my dad and I have never once stood around nude, mutually examining and admiring each other's dicks. But maybe I'm just weird.

Just do whatever is common in your region, you don't want your kid to be the weird one.
