you guys know what 2yr olds are super good at?  Waiting in lines in super hot conditions with a bunch of other 2 yr olds.

We are waiting until the kids are around 10 and then taking them to Universal rather than Disney world.

Some day we'll take kids to Disney, but the youngest will likely be 4-5; old enough to ride the rides.

when is the optimal time to take these things to disney world for the first time? hopefully 20 months old.
3.5 years was good for both of my girls. I'm sure you'll have a blast at 20 months.

Planning ahead, you guys know where kids love going that are slightly older than 2yrs old but still not old enough to be able to ride all the rides at a place like Universal Studios?  Any place with a nice pool.  I mean, this is basically the the only reason Branson is still in existence. That and old ppl and tourists that are scared of minorities.

I had a friend who worked their one summer. He said the job was actual hell on earth, but that the compound where they house all the college aged employees is Bob Strawn's worst nightmare.

Partied on that compound b/c a friend's girlfriend had an internship down there one summer, so we went for a few days.

Let's just say Disney magic is mostly powered by illegal drugs, cheap vodka, and more out of wedlock activities than one would believe.

If Sleeping Beauty looks like she had a rough night, it's most likely because she wasn't sleeping very much.

That Disneyworld would have been Katdaddy's Disneyworld.

I think the phrase he used went something along the lines of, "the promiscuity at the compound would put the olympic villas to shame".

To bring this back full circle, if you have kids, don't let them work at Disneyworld.  They'll get drunk on cheap vodka they buy at Walgreens, and you'll need to get them tested for any and all diseases when they get back.

However, sd, the Magic Kingdom is delightful, and sdjr would most likely really enjoy the characters.  The dwarves might freak him out, though.

That's not what I'm saying.

I went to college and did all kinds of ill na na, but the stuff at Disney was kind of, well, hmm.

I've never been to Amsterdam, but I imagine if you put palm trees in the red light district, you'd get the Disney compound.

I don't want to shock you, but those drugs that you saw at the Disney compound are available at KSU.

We're getting off topic.  Yes, I'm aware.  But what I'm saying was that all of it was a little more out in the open at Disney than in my experiences at other schools, spring break, etc.

Back to talking about kids.

i don't think taking a 20 month old to disney makes any sense at all.

I think SD just has always wanted to visit the mouse, and now is his chance.    The kid won't be able to do crap, and Mrs. SD will miss everything while holding SDjr while SD goes all Flash Mountain.

I see a potential marketable product for Jim Beam called Jim Douche that could kill with the younglings.

I believe SteveO demonstrated this technique in one of the Jackass shows/movies.
