tell him if he decides he wants to step up his game and go against one of the true nerf pros in the midwest (and my nerf zeus rival mxv-1200 blaster) that he knows where to find me

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Sooooooo hey guys! Funny story to tell. I was supposed to get a vasectomy in March but I cancelled it. So no big deal, I'm old anyway, what could happen? Fast forward to last weekend, my wife gets sick, she's like, "I'm pregnant," I'm like lol. We get home on Monday, she pees on the stick  The punchline is that she had her annual already scheduled on Tuesday, she was going to restart birth control. We found out my wife is pregnant, the day before she was going to go back on bcp! :curse:

I'm going to be 43, and we're starting all over again

Congrats, you seem to have plenty of energy at 43. No reason to think you can’t whip ass as a parent in your 60’s.

Pretty rough. On the other hand, I can guarantee that I won't be making better use of my time in my late 40s & 50s, when my kids will be basically grown. Taking kid to little league >>>>> doing yard work. The toughest for me would be going through some of the baby stuff again. Diapers, no sleep, etc.

Yeah, I'm thinking more along the lines of being able to retire before 75.

This is a big ol' bummer post, so I won't blame you if you skip it.

Two weeks ago, a family in Edmond, OK. lost their only child, a two year-old son, in a car accident when a driver ran a red light. Just a tragic scene. The mom was buds in college with Mrs. SB, and I saw this posted:

GoFundMe for the family

The family isn't looking for handouts or anything, but some of their friends and family started a GoFundMe to help the parents erect a memorial to their little buddy. (Or establish a scholarship, or something to remember him by.) Just incredibly sad. They've reached the initial goal of $3,500, but it would be incredibly badass if they doubled it. They're really close. If anyone here has a few bucks burning a hole in their pocket, it would be incredibly #1cat of you to send it their way so their little buddy can get the memorial he deserves.
