Talked to a guy in Nashville last night who's considering quitting his gig here to go to Florida and do a couple months of contracted insurance adjusting. He says he knows someone there who can quickly get him through all the prerequisites and on to the work. He cited this article as why it's "legit."http://time.com/money/4942541/hurricane-disaster-make-money-insurance-adjuster/This is an absurd idea he's considering, no? He'd have to pay all his expenses, and wouldn't be able to come back to see his family for at least 2 months.
I know several teachers and small church pastors that side gig as adjusters. Can't imagine dumping main job though.

They do it during school year as well. They run adjustments after school. Convenient for the 9-5 crowd.
