Its just like when a dog hacks and harfs up living vomit, and then sits there and eats it.  We have been warpathing for the demise of oscar every spring for the last 4 years.  He loses and we hate him.  Then his team does better, and we think he doesn't look so bad.  We are barf eatin dogs.

my post was commentary. I also agree with everything sys and Russ have said. Out of curiosity, if this team makes the tourney, what percent chance do you give for oscar being fired?

In my mind, the only possible sway for Currie could be 2 more crowds worse than last Wednesday night. If the fans speak by not showing up to these last two games then maybe a move is made with just a first four selection. But realistically, I can't see Currie making any move with an NCAA appearance. If oscar manages to win the last 2 home games, there is no measurable criteria that hasn't improved over last year at least a little bit.

If we can win 3-4 more games before Selection Sunday and make the tourney, I can't see firing him.
This league has a 1,2,3 seed in it, and 4 teams that should make it.  If we go 9-9, it's not what I ultimately wanted, but I do know that if this team was just barely better, we win the Tech & Tcu games (that's still saying we lose both Ku and Isu games).

Thing that stings right now is the 4 losses at home. We are 3-4 on road and and eyelash from being 4-3.
Hey, Baylor WV and Isu all have 3 road losses.  The way we have played on the road.....for the most part...is encouraging as of this moment

I'm not going to give a percentage because there is such a wide variance of circumstance on how the season will play out, even at this point. I will say that right now I think the most likely circumstance is that we make the tournament and oscar oscar is retained, but that's far from a given.


I do appreciate actually discussing reasons why he should go or stay, by nearly everyone itt, instead of the normal he's staying because CurDog hur hur hur, for the 10,000th time.

Context is important, but this is still a funny quote. Also why I don't agree with timeouts in that situation, whatever oscar drew up clearly didn't work, Stokes was forced to shoot a floater, and DJamer made a play.

Also, down the stretch Stokes and Brown both made big shots. Players making plays after the under 4 is what wins close games.
