A rock ’n’ roll-themed restaurant is opening at the AT&T Center and will get a star-spangled sendoff from Paul Stanley of the legendary rock band Kiss.

Spurs Sports & Entertainment announced Monday that Rock & Brews, a chain restaurant co-owned by Stanley and Gene Simmons of Kiss, will open Dec. 11.

Paul Stanley would be a good oscar replacement if he wore the makeup every game.

Tom Crean = less accomplished version of Oscar, with a less annoying voice.

forbes bounces around a lot, it seems like every couple years he's on to something new.  that's not concerning?  how much credit can we give him for impacting a program when he's only been at a place a year.

My youngest son's godfather is a Lone Tree, IA native.  He went to school K-12 with Steve Forbes.  He said Steve is the best guy ever.  Steve would tie his shoes for him in first grade before he could do it himself.  They won a state 2-A football title together.
 :D

Man, I hope like hell this board has to cheer for an Iowan quarterback and Iowan head basketball coach, it'd be too perfect.

I thought we were done hiring people who were (could) be fired for being losers?

I could only pray for that consistency in the tourney for K-State.

I still want Gregg  :don'tcare:

Why do people here hate him as a candidate? I never caught wind of it

He's a dork. They just got over one. No lovable attributes, minus winning.

No one hates him as a candidate here. He is a gigantic dickhead and he would have a very hard time in an athletic department where he doesn't call all of the shots. All that being said if we landed him there would be universal praise. However, no one is talking about him because we all remember that he very publicly turned down the Texas job last year, he isn't coming here.

I don't have the slightest clue on probability of a purple Hoib, but would love it so hard

Thad is a really shitty name. I mean, it's like Todd but way worse. Todd gets to make fun of Thad's name. Let that sink in.

Slightly off topic, but I really enjoyed this comparison of Big 12 men's BB coaches to animals:
http://www.widerightnattylite.com/2017/3/8/14859010/animals-that-remind-us-of-big-12-coaches-vol-2

Best comparo, IMHO:  Brad Underwood = rhino
