What do you eat when you're sick?

Not looking for jello or chicken soup here, gtfoomf.

Me and the wifey make a bunch of spicy food to get things running.  Alternatively, I eat chicken mcnuggets when I'm having trouble keeping anything down -- those frackers go into your stomach and they don't leave.

What are some things you eat when sick that normal types may not think of?

Depends on the kind of sick. Are you stomach sick and can't keep anything down or stuffing nose and no energy and can't taste a damn thing sick?

Trashcan for the top end, toilent for the bottom.  Had E-Coli a couple years ago and did this for over a week.

Gatorade and popsicles. If you're sick in the morning, you'll be better by sundown.

Love fast food when I have like a cold or something. Especially chicken tenders. Other kind of sick, I dont eat, just have water. Maybe like some soup or something if we have it, but usually not.

Pancake/sausage on a stick.  Really boosts the immune system.  Something with the way they interact with the syrup.

Are you kidding?  I called in sick and got to sleep in.  Watched a movie, had a decent lunch, didn't have to sit on/in front of the toilet all day.  Was a pretty fantastic day, all things considered.

People that don't take their sick days are rubes.

That is exactly what I have.  Must be 7up and toast.  Then if I feel a bit better I'll put jelly on the toast.

Saltine crackers are money for the upset stomach.  Whatever you choose, make sure to chew very slowly.  Slow chewing is the key.
