FYI, the reason we can't have a thermometer or some graphic that shows we have $52K of $___K is b/c we don't know exactly what the final $____K is. Our fantastic endeavor here isn't what's driving the multi-million dollar library renovation. We have to wait for them to finalize some aspects before we can know exactly what their final ask is of us. But w/what we've done so far, we've already accomplished enough to know this is happening so long as we stay on pace. The Fatty room is part of the library's plans already.
After this year's 'Fest, with the goal that we'll be at $60K+, we should know shortly thereafter what exactly's needed in the next few years to finalize all this. Kat Kid also plans to announce some additional non-'Fest giving opportunities shortly, some of which are alluded to on the Fund site.
I wouldn't say "we've done it" yet, but we are absolutely doing it, and thanks again to everyone that's helped and contributed these past 5+ years and will do so now and going forward.
