Hate to say it, but Bragg is taking a beating that's really not fair to him.  Listening to 610 and 810 radio this morning, everyone was saying that this is the second time he's been in trouble, but wasn't Bragg pretty much exonerated on the first deal?  Note:  Deputy Dawg is not a squawk.

My wife goes to school at KU, yeah I know, anyways she heard some students talking about a drug bust in McCarthy Hall. That is the basketball players dorm. Supposedly it happened early this morning. Did anyone else hear anything? She said it was all over campus down there.

You really gotta feel for Bill Self and the KU bball team after the inconvenience this rape has put them through.  Hopefully the police will be more considerate and just stop the investigation, at least until basketball season is over.

Is it really a good idea to build a Taj Mahal boutique dorm for a scant few athletes?   Particularly when the economics clearly indicate that the only non athletes that can afford to live there are either students getting a ton of financial aid, those that have incredible jobs while going to school, or rich kids.   I'm guessing the non athletes are probably made up of rich kid fanboy facilitators.   Couple that with the fact that the scholarship players probably take all online classes (with KU's dubious APR and Graduation numbers for Men's basketball).   Sounds like a recipe for trouble to me.
