Weber and the time out
« on: January 14, 2017, 05:30:36 PM »
Weber lost this game when he called the time out when we finally went on a run and the crowd was into it.

He has always done that . What coach is such a bafoon that he tries to kill his own teams momentum. What a clown

It is his thing, for whatever reason.  I can't think of another coach that does it

Considering the only lapse Baylor has had this entire season was this past week, how bad do you all think we are?  I'm disappointed, but they are still ranked number 1 until Monday, but will not drop much.  I wanted to win badly.  Wes and Wade seem ineffective today.  Wade was so damn afraid, and Wes tried to do it all himself at times.  When they went to playing as individually rather than as a team they were bad.  When they played together they looked really decent.

I thought some of our defense caused them to look like crap at times.

I don't expect this team to be good offensively every game. But they have shown a lot of ability. The defense needs to get a ton better. We didn't stop ball well, gave up a ton off threes and rebounds.

Turnovers are what killed us offensively. But the rest of it was fine.

you mean when they made like 20 3s? Or when they did whatever rhey wanted in the paint when DJamer was out. How about when wade and stokes screened each other?

What run are u talking about. We had 2 TOs and a missed shot our previous 3 possessions. The score did go from BU 41-37 to Ksu 47-45 over 4:15 gameclock, but it was hardly a significant run.

Our TOs killed our chance for a nice 10-2 type run in 2 min to get crowd all pumped.

Westicles killed me in this game. We get the lead in the second half and our senior leader then tries to tomahawk over 2 7 footers, followed by rolling on the ground acting fouled and then turns it over next trip. He went like 1 of 8 and only shot 50% from the line.

And oscar sucks. He needs to go. At least we could lose games with a less dorky coach.
