If we get into the playoffs, we'll play bama in the championship game. Can't think of any other team that would be a better final level boss team for lil ol k-state to have to beat to win a championship.

It would be interesting to see who the committee chooses between one loss K-State and one loss OU if both teams have a head to head win. I think we'd probably need them to lose to Ohio State.

I'm not a huge Ertz fan but I think this 2017 season could be something special if he progresses like some of you think he will. Other than OU I think we should win every game next year.

This is what I'm thinking, too. If Ertz progresses like most Snyder QBs do, I'll be disappointed with less than double-digit wins. The running game should be even better (whole year of Barnes, more experienced O-line), and Strickland will hopefully give the passing game another legitimate weapon. Couple of spots to fill on defense, but the core is still there, and then some. Looking forward to a really fun year.

This is with the assumption that our coaching staff doesn't piss down their legs and lose us the chance at a playoff bid.  Somehow, I have a feeling Dimel will find a way to ef it up like he always does and we go 10-2 and a trip to the Alamo Bowl or Russell Athletic.  Remember, it took them only 10 games to figure out that Barnes was our best RB.  Only 10 games.

Agree we should be really good next year. Hopefully we exercise at least a modicum of discretion running Ertz in the early season and can avoid substantive injury throughout the year. 10-2 is realistic and 11-1 or 12-0 is a legitimate, albeit small, shot with how our schedule lays out.
