Frank didn't like Fidel or people who liked Fidel.  Like Jill Stein and Bernie Sanders for example.

I don't really know anything about Fidel or Cuba. I do enjoy the Buena Vista Social Club.

Healthcare was free in Cuba much in the same way those Red Cross stations are free in refugee camps. Yes, it's free, but it's because you have no money and are living in a squalid refugee camp.

But to cranks like Bernie Sanders - who it bears repeating was the preferable candidate to liberals over HRC - that "free" healthcare was the silver lining to Castro's Cuba.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

I don't think it has to be formally approved, but that it has to be involve one of the following 3:
1. Something work related
2. Something educational
3. family visiting family

Also there used to be a rule that US citizens could not spend money in Cuba so people would charter a complete trip thru a company in Mexico or another country but I believe Obama eliminated it.

Everything about Cuba looks gross. I don't know why anyone would ever want to go there. I was shocked when Mrs Wacky seemed interested in doing so.

I'd like to visit Cuba but I'd also like to visit North Korea and Venezuela. I find communist hellholes oddly fascinating. Much like the pit.

Fidel reportedly had over 20 luxury homes, so visit some of those if you go.

You could always go to Cuba through charters, you just had to meet exemptions. Commercial flights literally started yesterday, but the exemptions still remain (according to the crooked press). Not sure how strict those are.

My mom's Canadian husband has been a few times and loves it. I had planned to go through Canada sometime in the next few years, but looks like I won't need to now.
