There was 0 coaching by webber in the last 2 minutes. Called a timeout to break the press and then came back out and ran literally no press break. No awareness of time and score at the end of the game. Plenty of time to drive to the basket. No need for a jumper.

Like death and taxes.

Melo's good but good grief refs, you can't even touch the guy?

Actually, any time he wants a ft he can just run into you.  However! Kstate SHALL NOT shoot a ft unless maryland wants them to

You can't blame Weber for Wes missing free throws that would have sealed the win.

Most pathetic end-game coaching I've witnessed since Texas State. Every timeout, Turg just chuckled about how he'd school Oscar.
And Oscar knows neither how to coach nor defend a baseline out of bounds play.

Winning teams make winning plays. Period.

We are not that type of team and haven't been for several years. I don't see it changing.

You can blame oscar for pissing down his leg with time management and having nothing no 'go to' play to secure the win.

We did a remarkable number of things at the end to give that one away.

No its not. Control what you can control. We have a lead and finish the game with a stupid TO and then don't make a FT in the clutch. Winning programs make winning plays, we had chances to and we didn't. Melo Tremble did. Its simple to me, but see whatever you want.

the end of the game was pretty exciting.  i'm looking forward to a fun conference season.  still a month of crap games to go, unfortunately.

Fair point, those TWO plays didn't go well. We played tits on the other TWENTY possessions in the last 6 minutes to tie the game and take the lead, however. Only to have it stolen with a series of lol bullshit calls and no calls beginning with the Westicles travel.

I just wonder why the refs have had it out for KSU for the past three seasons.

Anyone listen to post game?  I'm curious to see how the players unperformed and failed to execute his masterful coaching plays.

Recruited him, coached him, sculpted him.  Yep, nothing is on oscar.

Do you know anyone, outside of like 6 people on wildcat salute, who think like this? I don't know a single one, this entire bit is a strawman. oscar will get fired if he can't get this team to make significant improvements.

Yes, and he should. But we have several fans here with ridiculous bits, so it is what it is.

I think moderate improvements, (say an NIT bid) would be more than sufficient for him to keep the job.

Fair point, those TWO plays didn't go well.

It really comes down to a couple plays going the right or wrong way making the difference in being a tournament team.
