It didn't dive that deep. It was probably just based on a projected amt of fake news that was on there this past year and the avg ad rate.

Given that so much of it revolved around the election, which won't be present next year, that would lessen the hit as well.

Even if it's half, that still a big number.

Yes, it's called "click bait," it's been going of for years, and there's about dozen of them at the bottom of many liberal websites like HuffPo and Salon that are suddenly so outraged about fake news.

Fake News =/ Posting copies of clinton campaign emails on the web, direct quoting her, pointing out the disaster that was her time as sos, noting extremely suspect donations to her foundation that correspond with political favors to really bad people, recognizing how irresponsible the email server was, or how absurd it was to lie about it and destroy tens of thousands of email from it after it had been subpoenaed.
