Total EMAW. Thanks for everything JW.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

What's the early word on the new guy? From the limited social media videos I've seen, he seems to fit the prez profile pretty well
Sometimes I think of the Book of Job and how God likes to really eff with people.

He's certainly been very visible, but I think that has a lot to do with him being new to the university. I like the guy so far.

8/19 interview on NPR.  Some discussion on getting enrollment turned around.  Mentions a plan to reduce out of state tuition for students with good GPA  :ksu:

I know my kid is 8 & we’re still a long way from college. However, unless things drastically change, there is no chance my kids are going to K-State.

This is the most minimum thing that can be done.

Random chart I found estimated that instate tuition and fees are about 12k per year instate. Over 30k per year out of state!!!!! Like, i'm proud of our school and all but if you pay 30k per year to go to Kansas State, you are a maniac.

A few of the Midwest states already get in-state at KSU and KU through the Midwest exchange. Nebraska gives KS kids in-state at UNL, but none of the other states’ largest schools participate.

Nobody in their right mind should pay $31K a year to go to school at K-State (or any other school for that matter.  But less than 5 miles from my house, kids pay $60K a year to go to a school that's a legend in its own mind).

KSUPRL from everything I've seen and heard, needs to get rid of a number of people, quickly.

Relative to the existence of this blog.  The burden that tuition number puts on our athletic department is ridiculous and unmerited.

I thought this was fascinating. Tuition was basically free when I went to KSU.

yeah, seeing those large % jumps in seemingly random years is kind of odd. At some point it has to give, but people have been saying that for years. Hopefully by the time my kids get there, something will happen and I can buy something fun with the 529 money.  :billdance:
