Half of KU's shots are 3s.

They are shooting 36% on 2s and 48% on 3s.

Its like I'm watching Iowa State or something.

ku is a good (not great) b12 conference team but not much beyond that.  certainly not a #2 team.
i expect wvu and baylor will go much farther in the ncaa tournament.  which is when it counts.

I appreciate when announcers try to use advanced stats in games, but sometimes they are funny.

Near the end of the first half of the Tech-Baylor game, a Tech player was going to the FT line. The announcer mentioned that Tech had a free throw rate of 40.4% in Big 12 play, then said "that means Tech gets to the FT line on over 40% of their possessions."

I chuckled.
