People are calling this out . . . this isn't the monolithic gaslighting cult that is known as #blueanon, folks (now featuring the usual outright lies about who is going to lose their benefits)

. . . BBB now featuring calls for taking more time to read the bill from the halls of Congress (which they should)

But some of the people saying that don't ever seem to have those kinds of concerns when its their most favored bill(s) . . . the ol pass it then read it crowd

Tax cuts funded by more debt, makes complete sense.

We should just do a couple dozen trillion more and make sure everyone gets a taste. Also, this is way better than forgiving student debt and unburdening young people as they begin their careers as productive citizens or universal healthcare.

Between the super efficient HJs and radically increasing debt more than any president ever, Dipshit is really on to something.

Fast forward 3 more years; will Don be responsible for 50% of our total national debt by then?  Who’s got over/under?

China tariffs will pay for all this I'm sure so I'm not worried.

Just think about how much the average R has been trained to hate or actually does hate anyone but themselves to continually be kicked in the balls like this. It's just remarkable.

Great day to see people affirm again and again that they don't understand how Washington works, this applies to both MAGA and #blueanon.

We saw plain as day that neither side is really the least bit interested in lowering spending, and the only solution one side has is to just continually raise taxes.

It also simply reaffirms the uniparty.

For example: I am traveling in NC and I am not far from SJ AFB home to F-15E's.  Currently the NC congressional delegation is fighting to stop the AF from disbanding one squadron of F-15E's which have a slightly less powerful engine then newer versions.  The AF then want to take the money spent on that squadron and use it to continue to update the remaining F-15E's.

"spending is too high", "we don't have a revenue problem, we have a spending problem", "we are going to reduce spending and cut the debt", "I'm going to eliminate the US debt in 8 years"..........."guys, we all knew they weren't going to cut spending".

modern conservatives in a nutshell. Their balls have to be so sore.

Imagine if we just tried to help everyone out instead of just rich people.

Viewers of this blog are reminded again that the very tippy top of rank and file Democrats have had a complete and absolute meltdown about every proposed or actual cut in government spending, and just a few months ago they were lined up like infants outside the USAID Headquarters  :bawl: :bawl: :bawl:  because their grift was being assaulted.

Why do you think I am only talking about this bill?

Also -    at you for editing out a substantial portion of what I posted, which is a massive indicator that I was talking about more than the BBB.

Editing out something that is posted right above my post? Are you afraid people wouldn't be able to find the full quote?

Your meltdown has gone from bad to terrifying to sad to so so so so so so sad.

I'm seeing that the BBB creates a $1000 fee to claim asylum...

Specifically, the bill proposes a $1,000 fee to apply for asylum and a $100 annual fee while the application is pending. Additionally, it includes a $550 fee for work permits for asylum seekers and those under Temporary Protected Status. These fees are proposed to be unwaivable in almost all circumstances, meaning they cannot be waived for those who cannot afford them.

I'm beginning to think this death cult is also full of raging, bigoted assholes. How did we get to this point as a society where one of the only two parties we get is openly, blatantly, cynically unmoved by the incongruity between their America and the America that has existed in the historical record?
My winning smile and can-do attitude.

Post above from someone who doesn't have a single clue how our 3 branches of government works, and absolutely no clue as to how it works in the halls of our legislative branch.
