For example, Barack Obama was described (correctly) in some circles as PNAC on steroids. So how do you define him?
I always thought he acted much as a moderate republican would have.
That being said i thought that the right had painted Obama as a radical far left Marxist.

You can't categorize the Obama administration as being anything. The weirdest foreign policy administration in modern presidential history.
From attempting to install the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, to taking out the Libyan government because Sarkozy was going to get embarrassed when it was discovered his campaign was taking money from Gaddafi, to putting stinger missiles and other weapons in the hands of people who make the Mujahedin look positively tepid to saddling up next to Central American dictators, to rolling over to Putin and toasting Xi, to spying on our allies . . . just an amazing crap show.
You can start with Joe Biden. Many of them are out of government, Hillary, Leon, Albright etc. etc.
