I'm very fine with everything re. this deal. you want to do whatever these maga hats did? by all means, go nuts. you want to kneel during the national anthem? go nuts. there are rewards or repercussions and the employer, school, public, etc. decides what those are. and as part of the public I enjoy wielding that power. I am very good at it.

I think the confusion might be that some people didn't see anything wrong with how the kids were acting around the Native Americans, but they thought it was wrong for the kids to approach them in the first place. So to them, the new video completely exonerated the kids.

The initial outcry is that these punk ass kids got in these Native Americans faces slurring racial crap and badgering them. So then all the dems on social media went after their parents, threatened their lives, etc. Now the real story came out and rage isn't backing down because some of them wore MAGA hats, which apparently is the new suit for the KKK. That's currently where we're at.

Yeah I'm almost there with you.  My only hesitancy is when people face repercussions based on misinformation - which may or may not have happened in this episode.
