Once again we give up long (in terms of yards) scoring drives.  Can't overcome it.

how many times does OSU have to run two receivers straight down the middle before we figure out how to stop it? I guess we'll never know.

20 carries 171 yds.
30 carries.

1 is Barnes Jones Silmon (8.55 per carry)
Other is just Ertz

Lol at Offensive play calling Stooges.

The worst part about today is that Brad Underwood coaches OSU bball.  I remembered that in like the 4th quarter and got really quiet and sad.

The offense is improving, its the defense that is sliding backwards quickly. The offense and its young parts have the possibility of becoming very good over the next couple years, but I'm not sure we'll ever have the talent on defense to have enough for a Top 10 type team.

Talent is not our problem IMO. I mean, yeah,  talent isn't top 10 caliber but it's 10 YPP bad either. They are good at tackling but constantly out of position against everyone in the big 12.

We aren't better than them, and we probably will lose by 4-7 points and it'll be gut wrenching.

When the cats punted the ball away after they pulled within 37-35, I remembered reading this post and thinking scottwildcat better not be some kind of prophet cause this will suck.

My issue is obviously that we should have given our RBs more carries.  Ertz isn't Klein or Bishop. 30 carries is a joke.
Barnes pretty much had a decent or really good run every time he touched the ball in 2nd half. We were up 2 in the 4th quarter....after Barnes got a 5 yd run, we ran back to back QB runs that got very little, and had to punt. You could see Ertz was tired and a little exhausted.

I like all of our 4 tailbacks.  I like the trio of Pringles/Heath/Zuber. And I think the OL has come a ways since Stanford game.  Ertz is up and down, but putting 55% of our carries on him isn't a formula we want, especially with that 8.5 ave the RB trio had today.

This dude is complaining about a player that had 30 carries for 150 yards and three touchdowns, hot take.

8.55 > 5, and rushing TDs is misleading in Bill's offense, and Ertz has an injury history

Ertz got the exact right amount of carries for an offense that uses the passing game as a decoy for qb runs.

Running the ball is at the core of K-State’s identity, and this season Jesse Ertz is at the center of forming it.

For the first time since 2003, K-State has recorded at least 200 yards rushing in three-straight Big 12 games. Darren Sproles was the Wildcats’ workhorse then. Without an exclusive running back on this Wildcat team, Ertz has taken on the biggest load. And he’s carried it well.

Currently, Ertz leads K-State in rushing yards (630) and carries (111). A K-State quarterback hasn’t finished the season as the leader in both of those categories since Collin Klein in 2011.

Ertz is running so much b/c we have so many running backs.

Yeah, we don't have an every down back, we don't have an every other or every third down back so in a run heavy offense he by default is going to get way more carries than the other guys splitting them five ways. Is that difficult to understand?

No, the math part of it is very easy to understand.
