I don't have any problems with the now/bubble screens. It puts tons of pressure on the defense and allows a lot of those running lanes inside the tackles and off tackles to open up because it spreads the defense. WRs getting blown up on those is often the fault of the blocking WR making the wrong read and not the play call; the throw is dictated by how many defenders opponents put out there which often you can't see on the screen, so it is often impossible to truly see if they are poor calls. I also have no problem with calling them on back to back plays, especially when the previous one gained 13 yards. I honestly didn't see that series as a major problem, it was a good defensive play by ISU which got our offense off track by putting us in 2nd and long. Also, K-State converted a bunch of 2nd/3rd long situations during the game on pass plays and no one said a word; we all like to jump on when things go bad, but when its clicking fans are quiet. The facts are even with the bad series, the offense was very good today and did not turn the ball over. I had many more issues with poor special teams and defense in the 2nd half than I did on the offense. The offense has steadily progressed, my only real problem today was the run that led to the safety.
