1999, we were down 28-7 at half. Helm came in for Beasley and Allen returned a punt for a TD in the second half and we won 35-28. Damn! He trippin' so hard fans are gonna think he done fell off!
I was at both of those games. Good times. That Saturday night game in 02 was probably the best K-State - Iowa State match up ever. Both teams were ranked (we were #12/12, they were #21/22) and ISU actually spent some of the early season in the Top 10 after their close loss to Florida State to start the year. Seneca Wallace got some talk as a Heisman candidate. Then we absolutely destroyed them, just a fun November night at the Bill.
And it wasn't Randy Jordan, but Bobby Walker in a blowout over Iowa State, but he had back to back INTs for TDs on consecutive plays. Damn! He trippin' so hard fans are gonna think he done fell off!
