so impossible for them to admit that we've just had the better players most years that we've played them.

@dlew12, did it seem there was a larger number of complaints about the refs? Seems like Texas hates refs for some reason.

yes.  lots of complaints about k-state holding that the refs didn't call and lots of complaints about taunting.

some suspicion about Ertz's snapcount being illegal.

LOL at the quarterback simulating the snap, that literally is not a call that can be made. A quarterback can be called for false start for over exaggerating a head bob, but he wasn't doing that. He does have a very good hard count, since we were at home and the crowd was quiet when we had the ball you could hear his hard count clearly. The issue for UT is that he uses the hard count before the check with me, not sure how their players seemed to be surprised we do the check on every play. That being said Abdul Beecham jumped once before the check as well.

This is true. Its unbeatable.

This happens so often in the ISU game, I forgot about last year and I was there.

So great, I was sitting right behind the south end of the ISU bench and right after we got within 7 Proud Paul runs down the sideline slapping the defense that just got off the field on the backs saying "Finish Strong!"    I yelled "Coach 'em up Paul!!!" and a few of the players turned around but quickly turned back, heads down.   It was like they already knew.

it was miraculous. i was headed toward the aisle because all isu needed to do was take a knee to end the game. i mentioned to someone "nah, it's over unless they decide to run the ball and fum-OH MY GOD THEY RAN THE BALL AND FUMBLED HOLY crap WE HAVE THE BALL"

it was timed perfectly and i will never forget it.

I turned off the radio when we didn't convert that last 4th down.  It wasn't until that night around the campfire I think that someone was looking at their phone and said "HOLY eff KSTATE WON!"  :sdeek:

I changed the channel on the TV after we didn't convert the 4th down out of disgust. Sulked for a little while, checked into gE only to see comments like "OMFG", turned it back to the game, and watched Cantele kick the game winner. Amazing. Even at the half I was pissed thinking "this is finally gonna be the year they beat us." What a dumbass.

after we were down several scores I went with my wife to like the verizon store I think to get her a new phone and when we were standing there I saw the score and streamed the end on my phone while waiting for hers to activate.  great times.

Last year's game is why I never leave or turn off games early. Just an LOL riot at the end.
