Wouldn't a less successful bill lead to less leverage for sean and the staff to stick around after bill?

Does Bill actually think Sean should be the next HC? Maybe we've just manufactured this in our minds but really it has no basis in reality. I mean how could Bill think that?

Someone reported last year that Sean doesn't even want to be the next coach but it was completely ignored on here because presumably it hurt a narrative.

According to Sean's wife and son, last week, Sean still doesn't want to be our head coach. The only one who does is Bill.

So, do you believe Snyder would actually exit based upon a plan to bring in Brent? In light of what happened last time he tried it, I doubt he would do it willingly again.

Now, if somehow Snyder leaves with no conditions on who is taking the job and Brent is somehow convinced into changing his view on returning to Manhattan, then maybe it could happen.

However, I don't see either route occurring.

Better start considering other options.

PS - None of this matters if this thread is about a Brent other than one named Venables.

I have to admit, my first thinking of this thread was "to get Brent Musburger" and then I was sad because the options are pretty much play an SEC team or make it to the Rose Bowl.
