The last time Bill had back to back losing seasons
« on: October 16, 2016, 04:21:28 PM »
The last time LHC Bill Snyder had back to back losing seasons (both overall and conference), he retired.  Will he retire if that happens again?

This Texas game isn't do-or-die, but if they lose, then they MUST beat BOTH OSU and TCU to avoid a losing season (LOL if you think we are beating Baylor).  That's not a lot of wiggle room.

So, given that a second consecutive losing season may well be approaching, do you expect to see anything different out of Bill and this coaching staff?

I agree....the UT game is make or break.  Which is why I wonder if they are considering pulling Thompson's redshirt.

The defense will pull out a 17-13 type of win for us while we rack up around 200 yards of shitty offense

Well, we COULD beat both OSU and TCU, but the odds are terrible.

i mean, does anyone really gaf if we win 7 games instead of 6?
7 wins, even 8 wins, if we were able to luck ourselves to that mark, doesn't change the fact that our program sucks

I don't think an 8 win season is sucking.

We'll beat ku, isu, ut, osu. That's 7.
We might beat tcu. That's 8.
I'm not convinced the wheels won't suddenly come off at Baylor. That's 9.

When was the last time we won a road game against a team with significantly better talent?

These rudderless, shitty recruiting, horrible QB developing seasons are really starting to rough ridin' suck.  We aren't lucking into another Klein.  We aren't getting another Daniel Thomas. There won't be another Lockett gift wrapped until Bill is 84.  I don't care how many wins we get a season.  The horrible blowing of games like WVU and TCU suck.  We're coasting along so a 77 year old ego maniac can "have a positive impact on youngsters lives".  I have zero hope for a Big12 championship in the future.  We aren't building towards anything.  This blows.

If we can't beat UT at home, we aren't beating OSU and TCU.  Next weekend will tell you whether or not this is going to be a winning season.

No way we don't win 6 games.  Saying we won't is really weird.
