West Virginia @ Texas Tech...and other big 12 games.
« on: October 10, 2016, 09:46:43 AM »
Really Wvu @ TT and KSU @ Oklahoma are the only two games Week 7 with any baring on the Big 12 Title Race. Let's get your thoughts and predictions on both games!

Wvu-52
TT-41

I'm not sure how TT Defense will be able to stop the balanced WVU offense, defenses with playmakers who can force turnovers is usually how they're slowed down, TT doesn't have any.

KSU-31
Oklahoma-30

Ksu runs another kick back and forces a mayfield fumble returned for a TD...Ksu shocks the Sooners and keeps their nightmare season going.

YES, KSUGURU.

Nice 'dictos.  Though I expect Tech to defeat WVU.  Lubbock and all of that.

You like TT just because in Lubbock? How's that defense getvany stops vs WVU offense?

Ksu has the best D in the conference and Wvu moved the ball up and down the field...

Wvu held Ksu to 2.9 yards per carry---we all saw how well Ksu ran it down TT's throat.

The WVU offense isn't that great. I think Tech wins, too.

Our offense has played very bad on the road so far. If we win @OU, I really doubt it would be with 31 points. Probably more like 20-17.

I have Ksu 31 points and if you read what I said...return special teams TD and fumble return for a TD. That's 17 offensive points...

I like Tech this week assuming Mahomes is healthy.  If he's not, I like WVU.

Home field advantage is going to be big in a year of parity.

Well, lucky for tech, WVU's run defense doesn't matter a lick because Tech is the most pass heavy team in the conference.  Who knows how good WVU is against a very capable air raid?

I'm beginning to question your "guru" credentials.

Legitimacy test for WVU. They've been fortunate to steal wins against BYU (INT at the goal line) and K-State (missed FG). First true road game. Mahomes didn't really seem to be slowed down by the injury. Most explosive offense WVU has seen to this point is BYU, and they tore them up for well over 500 yards. Tech will put up points and get just enough stops to win a tight one at home. Seems like the kind of game Dana and Co should win but don't.

As far as our game... I just can't stop thinking about 55-0 from last season. OU's defense clearly has more holes, but this will easily be the most talented team we've seen. Trying to find your offensive footing in Norman isn't exactly ideal. Thinking something in the neighborhood of Sooners 31-14. We'll see. Might feel better by week's end.

Guys we will beat OU.  They seem to poop themselves anytime the cats roll into town.  I like TECH in Lubbock.

"Bobby" wants to look good at home, Quatz have their work cut out for them.  I think Mixon knows how to rough up people besides his girlfriend.  Will be tough to win.

Tech blows out WVU.
