With the 1TB a month cap idk how [you] does it without going over your data limit streaming everything. It’s just me and I consistently hit the 500GB a month range.

We use our Verizon unlimited to stream on phones most of the time and have only gone over once.

It might not work if your TV doesn't have MHL but the cables are cheap and most TV's have it but maybe only on a specific hdmi port  so

I have cox contour and didn't want to rent their stupid box so I figured I would just do this as workaround

I have cox contours and like them/it a lot. no more checking gopowercat to see what station the cats are on for me. also have a bunch of rokus of various versions. good combo for FSGO/WatchESPN/ESPN3/Disney Now/Etc for the fam. kid is a pro at 4 years old of navigating the roku to Puppy Dog Pals or Jake and the Neverland Pirates. I need to upgrade all the rokus to the voice ones. I don't like having to type out stuff in the search bar on like youtube and crap. takes over a million years.

And SD I like it to but hate that contour isn't available on roku as an app

I may be confused but why would you need the contour app for your roku? like travelling or some crap?

IRL LOL Story: I have a TV on the wall with like no cords and crap. Realized after it was up I had nowhere to put my Contour box and it's the full size DVR size one. I double sided construction level adhesived it to the wall behind the TV. pretty cash. stuff's never coming off that box tho. Drop and run when it's return time.

That's hdmi micro, I highly doubt his tablet has one of those ports. My Motorola Droid 2 had one though
