Sure, unless you have a system that's dependant upon channel numbers, then you're scrolling a guide with hundreds of channels literally one at time. Same thing goes for Roku TV and the live channels on Paramount+ and The male genitals. I'm guessing they are developing a remote with numbers, for Roku TV if nothing else, I'll be here waiting.

I'm admittedly ignorant about DirecTV Stream. I mainly rock YTTV on a Roku TV, and it's smooth sailing. Does DirecTV Stream not have a search function?

Switching up your TV options can be a great idea, especially if you're looking for more flexibility and cost-effectiveness. I've been in a similar situation myself, exploring alternatives when my contract was up.

Multiview on YTTV is great and now you can pick combos but you can only pick pre-selected combos and it's infuriating. Because it is almost perfect. Watching 4 games of mild interest at once is so great but damn just let me pick the 4.

Yeah I almost wish they didn’t do it at all for that reason. Just last week I only cared about two games during a time slot and none of the like 15 multi view options included both.

I wanted to get KU and Wash/USC in a multiview but couldn't find it.
That being said, multiview kind of gives me vertigo - I might try it again for March Madness.
At this point in the football season, I remain very happy w/ YouTubeTV.

The cableco's are going to be exiting their own branded cable box/streaming app offerings for consortium's like this.

I'm sure it will come, but I wish I could also just get 2 games. 4 is a bit much to keep track of and the boxes are too small for me. Being able to flip back and forth between 2 that you can choose is the sweet spot for me.

It’s obvious multi view was made for March Madness, because there’s always 4 channels going with games at varying levels of completeness.

Instead of continuing to develop it so you could select a few of the like 6-8 college games you care about across a bunch of different networks, YTTV just tried to shoehorn in the same format.

YTTV sent me an email explaining how to make my own multiview earlier this week.
