he's a senator and his wife is or was a college president. no one should have been stupid enough to believe they were poor.

At the beginning of this campaign it was noted that he was one of only a small handful of senators that were not a millionaire. Iirc, the radio said his last disclosure said he was worth around 600k. Now, 600k lakehouse.

I certainly don't begrudge Bernie, or anyone else nice things. The distortion of Bernie's message has been that he doesn't want ppl to be rich, when in fact, he was saying that more should be done so that the poor aren't so poor. Given that, I have no problem with Bernie getting a house. however, it seems off to me that he does it in such a gangster way. I guess it will be interesting to see what his disclosure lists as his net worth next go round.

Obviously not, again, I don't begrudge Bernie being wealthy or getting a nice house. I just think it seems obvious that he sold out. Opinion, not a fact.
