this is incredibly true.  i guess it might be ok to replace some non-friends with friends, but it doesn't work like that.  the friends get added on to the non-friends and then there's too many and you're mumped.

The crossfit box was a very good idea.  I take a yoga class at the one near me and all those ppl are nice AF.  I mean, they all keep asking me when I am going to join, but still, even when I tell them I am not joining, nice AF.

Also, the volunteer thing from Mich was good.  Maybe join lions club, or rotary or something.

Crossfit may actually satisfy the "more flexible variety" idea.  Its close to a religion for them, but not in a your going to hell way.

I guess.  But I'm saying just start doing open mics.  I think you'd fit in well with those people, who also probably need friends.  Hours would probably work well too.
