i'll feel the same way i've felt every year since 2012. i hate our coach. and nothing short of a national title will ever win me over, and since this coach is not capable of a natty, or, even competent play, i will watch and be disappointed.

there was some year in the 90's where we went to maui and managed to look kind of competent but still went 1-2 and then finished probably about 7-9 in confy and the whole year i thought, "these guys are pretty solid, we're just like a couple plays away." and then asbury got fired and we got 6 years of more suck. that is this era of cats bball.

This is the benefit of being in a power conference that has respect. Even if we are pud , if we manage 18+ wins with victories over "midwest blue bloods" we are in.

Though, if we get left to a crappy conference after final expansion. . .we could be like WSU and go undefeated every year in the Missouri Valley. Could be fun.

I have never had less emotional attachment to any K-State team than I have during the Oscar Weber days, last season did not see a game in person, first time in 45 years that I can say that

i also went my first season, since before i enrolled at k-state, without seeing a BBall game live, last season.... and some of those were Woolly seasons in that span.

EDIT: nm, i guess i saw them at Intrust in ICT, first no home game season, tho

If you play in a major conference and don't make the tournament it means you are awful. Making the tournament should be the bare minimum for mediocrity

Season 4 under Wooly is pretty comparable to season 4 under Weber.
