Welp what? Baylor is horrible, they will either go winless or win one, ISU will win five.
i'll take the under. isu will sneak past ku at home and that may be it.
Based on ISU's performance last night, winning three conference games may be their max. KU at home, at Tech , and at Baylor. That's all that is left on their schedule where they have a shot at the W.
Their QB is erratic and will turn the ball over in terrible moments all season. The playcalling confused the hell out of me, in what was a tight game throughout, they would go entire drives without putting the ball in Montgomery's hands. He's good and they've got to control some clock to beat teams with superior athletes. Plus, Park is a lunatic in a football uniform. Lazard is a beast, who should be a decent pro, but with Park throwing the passes it may not matter this season. Of course, Campbell could go to his backup if there are any more performances like last night. I don't know enough about ISU recruiting in the Campbell years, but they still seemed smallish on defense. In a postgame interview with Sportscenter, Herman explicitly said he was impressed with their defensive game plan, that they threw a new look at UT, something not seen in the last 2 years of film. So maybe they'll scheme their way to some wins if the defense keeps games close. Also, Park is the father of a 2 month old. Another maniac in Iowa becomes a father. Always concerning.
