This is prolly as good a time as any to let everybody know that Modelo is the Busch of Mexico, certainly nothing to admit drinking outside of the shame thread.  Hell even our caddie Peter who lived in a shack with no running water, no electricity and damn sure couldn't read a putt, preferred Pacifico...... Keep that brow high tho kid

I have some friends that always try and do summer beer. Beer + Frozen lemonade concentrate + vodka and I'm always let down.

All Mexican beers are trash. Sol, Pacfico, Corona, Bohemia, Tecate, etc. all taste like piss. Dos Equis Amber and Negro Modelo are the only ones that are even remotely drinkable IMO.

Modelo is great. As is Pacifico. As is all Mexican beer. I am drinking water. Also, excellent. And quite affordable.

had redneck sangria for the first time and it has the potential to be a great hot weather drink

fill glass with ice then add
rye whiskey
triple sec
lemon juice
simple syrup
float whatever leftover red wine is around on top

It's not as fruity as typical Sangria but I really like the spiciness the rye adds and nothing beats turning the half a glass left from last nights cabsav into 2 delicious cocktails
