The east side one appeared to be bigger than the west side one, but I think it was just the angle and stuff

I feel like the east side video board is angled a little differently than the west side board.

Can't match turf, can't match video boards. Sad

First game back on the east side since I graduated and had no issue.

You like the shade?  We have a couple seats in row 2 of the upper deck, at about the 20.  We sell them until October.  We got a block of 12 in section 1 starting this year.  First thing my brother said was "this shade at kickoff is 10 times better.

The shade is nice, the atmosphere is better. It was odd in retrospect being sandwiched between the visitors and the students/student-athletes. I will miss the heavy gE presence in 19-20, but this move is overdue. The one drawback, a lot more tucks. Some old dude in front of me was sitting with who I presume was his son. After they introduced the dudes from  the elite eight team the tuck said "Beasley would be here if you throw him a bag of dope."

Yeah, you'll get a lot of that.  I'll probably only sit over there for 1 game this year, but if I see you I'll introduce myself and say hi.

I sat in the 2nd row in section 21. I usually end up around that same spot, but it varies from week to week. It was much hotter than I anticipated, but a fun game to watch.

Section 1, Row 42. Can confirm that shade at kickoff is 10x better.

Agreed. I'm in section one, we park on the grassy lots north of Kimball, and it's much more convenient than to have to take a long ass walk around the SEZ to get to section 1.

I'm in section 23 up about midway.  I could not hear the band any better than before.  And it was so dang hot.  I like jacket weather for football during the daytime.

Go west on Kimball until you're just west of Vanier then head south and enter in the NW corner.  We're in the east lots and I always walk through the Vanier parking lot.  I never leave more than 20 min before kickoff and I'm always in my seat with 5-10 min to go.

We used to sit in Section 18 last year so that's why we decided to switch over to section 1 this year now that it is connected. We did take that route that you mentioned this past Saturday to the game, and it worked like you said. After the game is over, we can get out easier by walking around the NEZ to the east side, instead of walking out to the west, cut up north to Kimball and walk east to Denison Ave.
