It's pretty much what I expected for the score (I had 27-13), but I honestly thought Ertz and Pringle would be better. The offense looks identical to last year and I really need someone to tell me that Stanford is the best defense we'll play all year because that was super depressing. On a positive note, the front seven on our defense look as good as 11-12.

I'm still excited after watching the game after work. It was our first game and I love our defense. Hope the offense improves through the rest of noncon.

It's really hard to tell how good Stanford is on week 1. Their defense looked solid, but their offense looked worse than I expected them to. I think OU will probably end up being the only team better than Stanford that we play this year.

Call me a tuck, but there was a lot to be happy about on Friday night. Snyder's teams are notorious slow starters, so I am very excited to see our progression as a team by the WVU game. I'm also interested to see how good Pringle is when he isn't getting tackled by DBs during his routes.

It also has me pumped for future OOC games against power 5 opponents. The next four years supply teams we can beat and in weeks two or three. So if we are building a juggernaut we will have "quality wins" to lean on.

Snyder usually figures out ways to score points. It was a miracle we scored at all last year, and to a lesser degree, when Carson was QB. Mainly I just hope our defense is actually as good as it appeared to be at times against Stanford. Pretty confident the offense will come around to be serviceable.

I'll wait to get excited for the Defense. It was a promising showing against McCaffrey, but I'll wait to see how they do against spread offenses.

Guys the only thing Snyder is doing is trying not to poop his pants on the reg. He is well on his way to being the new Tex Winter.

I'm excited that there is a KSU cats football game on Saturday. I hope the weather is not this bullshit rainy, cloudy mess we've been having for what seems like forever though. Also these morning games are less and less fun. Give me 6 oclock for every game

The game is at 1:30, that's hardly a morning game. Also it's supposed to be really nice out again I think
