The windstorm presented some challenges for noted K-Stater and camera-shy person Farmer Derek.

Wind knocked the side out of one of our buildings. Hindsight, we probably should have closed the doors. Going to guess the poles were probably rotten.

Mrs8 went to annual teacher holiday party pre storm.  Drives home in the storm with teacher friend.  Encounters downed limb in road and decides she will get out and move it only to be whacked by another falling limb and gashing the top of her head.  Friend gets her home and we go to ER.  Two hours and 17 staples later she and her 10 cm laceration are fine.

The old man has beef cattle. He raises cow/calf pairs and sells the calves at feeder weights. He grinds feed for the calves once he pulls them off of grass.

Yeah if you want, or skip around.

Or don't watch at all.

Spoiler, he drives to Salina and tries to find a place to park but the lot is full because I-70 is closed so he goes to take a shower and by the time he's done with his shower the road is open again so he just carries on to Denver and that's where the video ends.

Yea, like when and where does the smash up happen.  The title is misleading.

No worries.  I've kind of gotten into the whole SlowTV thing where you just watch out the front window of a train in Norway or now there's a lot of truckers on YouTube streaming the same stuff.  Pretty uneventful mostly but I thought it was interesting to see the progression through the storm is all.  I'll admit it's not for everyone, or even most folks.  Delete my account if you think I violated any policies.
