My 2000 Toyota Tundra is still going strong. Now with 76,000 miles.

Their Sequoia has the same engine as the Tundra. I read that Toyota dealers won't take the new Tundras in trade-ins due to engine problems and the large amount of owners trying to get out from under them.https://www.thedrive.com/news/dealers-are-refusing-toyota-tundra-trade-ins-over-twin-turbo-v6-recall

They are recalling the v6 and likely letting hybrid just get covered by warranties. Amazingly shitty situation for the owners of those cars. They said 1 in 400 chance you have a bad one. Scary enough to keep dealers from want to trade for used ones. If you didn’t need to depend on it as primary means of transportation, a fella could probably get one cheap and roll the dice and if it goes bad then let the warranty fix it.
$1700 for 4 new tires and an oil change is a little ridiculous
