Something crawled up into my car and died this past week. It's the most ratchet smell of all time. I can't find it anywhere. Do you take your car in to get it snaked out by a mechanic?

start with a new cabin filter and try and vacuum out what you can of the duct work when the you  have the old filter out

We found a baby in there tonight too.  :frown: Had to bomb the car when we added the new filter. Might be time to move that car more moving forward.

retiring my 2004 camry.  :bawl:

over 270,000 miles, but just too many costly repairs to make it worth it anymore.

I am gonna buy something just for me and I don't really give a crap about cars other than will it get me to my destination. what should I buy?

An older Civic or Corolla is probably the best bet for low cost, high reliability.

My retired mom has an 06ish Camry that has 270,000ish miles on it and some random cosmetic things are adding up (part of lower front bumper held on with a zip tie from hitting a parking stop, random interior wear and tear etc)

They are just fine financially so I asked her why she doesn't just get a new one... apparently her "engine got recalled at 100k miles so technically only has 170k miles on the engine so it's basically new"

So yeah, just get another Camry.
