Fitz 810 Recap:
-Fitz thinks Jamie Dixon to TCU is a good hire. He is happy they're trying to get better and thinks hiring an alumni is a good idea. Says there is a lot of opportunity to make that program much better.
-There was a fake tweet about oscar Weber being fired yesterday. Kietz knew it was fake immediately but some people didn't. Fitz wrote an article that Brad Underwood should be the coach at KSU.
-Fitz agrees with Kietz that Currie won't do anything regarding the coaching situation at KSU. He believes Currie has stayed far away from the situation but thinks fans have turned on oscar since the home Texas loss this year.
-Fitz called out gE as a vocal minority who never gave oscar a chance. Fitz gave oscar a chance until the end of this year, but now believes he is failing. Stated the Deb Patterson firing example.
-Kietz thinks oscar should be fired if he misses the tournament next year.
-Both think KSU was going to go to the Vegas 16 but backed out, but neither has a source. Mentioned affording the trip for some weird reason. A staff member at GoPowercat was told that going to Vegas is not in line with KSU basketball tradition. Alluded to Vegas not being a trip Currie wants to send his players on.
-Fitz has known Brad Underwood since high school.
-Kietz thinks KSU fans want a more "in your face" type team and aren't getting that with oscar Weber.
-Kietz thinks KSU needs moral flexibility in coaching in basketball. Mentioned the trash can receipt and called coaching under Currie an uphill climb.
-Fitz thinks the KSU admin. has lost its way because they're more worried about what's going on in the stands than on the court.

-If Kietz was the AD he would reach out to Brad quietly to take the job, but doesn't think Currie will do that.
-Fitz is confident that the team will be better next year than they are this year, but isn't confident they will be better 3-4 years down.
-Brad has told Fitz that KSU is his dream job and wants to raise his kids here. Fitz believes he has earned the job.
-Kietz thinks oscar's term at KSU is beginning to look a lot like Illinois.
-Fitz thinks OSU is the 2nd school on Brad's list based on his ties to OSU.
-Kietz randomly put Fitz on hold? Fitz blamed Sprint.
-Brad is a Jack Hartman "guy" according to Fitz.
-Fitz thinks if KSU doesn't hire Brad now, it would be unlikely that they ever would. Wouldn't rule it out yet. Fitz says Brad is the best choice for KSU basketball right now.
-Kietz blames Lon for leaving KSU and creating the stereotype that you can't recruit to MHK.
-Kietz says he turned on oscar when KSU got smoked by KU at the Sprint Center this year. Said there was "horrendous" effort.
-If Kietz was the AD, he would pull the trigger. Thinks Brad wants to be there and the KSU fans would love him.
-Fitz sat in press row for the KSU-KU Sprint Center game.
-Fitz thinks KSU fans are upset they aren't watching basketball and are watching former KSU coaches win NCAA tournament games makes them mad.
-Fitz has nothing against oscar and has been offended by the personal attacks on his since day 1.
-Kietz thinks there is a divide between Currie and the fans. Thinks Snyder and Currie don't get along and Currie has a poor feel for the sports part of being an AD. Kietz thinks Currie is a fantastic businessman. Fitz thinks Currie will have a great legacy at KSU because of the football stadium.
-Fitz thinks Currie has broken the relationship with fans completely.
-Fitz says there is a 10% chance something happens. Kietz says it sounds high. Fitz thinks the silence is confusing. Kietz thinks 5-10%.
-Fitz thinks there is a lot more too this situation than Currie realizes. Kietz thinks Currie doesn't care and as long as he follows the rules and Schulz is happy with him he won't feel the heat.
-Both agree this will follow Currie to his next job if he lets Brad go to OSU.
