kenpom has now decided that the 2010 big 12 was better than the 2016 big 12.

I don't think this takes away from the 2016 big 12 being the best conference in the galaxy, which is simply a bound system of stars, stellar remnants, interstellar gas, dust, and dark matter.  However, some have claimed it's the best in the universe but given that a universe is all of time, space and its contents, the fact that 2010 was better disproves that notion.

In this model would the Jayhawks be like a black whole, whose mass/gravity no other teams' hopes can escape?  Or, more like a supernova where they are approaching the apex of Bill Self's contending desires to "win basketball games" versus have a fulfilling and challenging life?

I haven't watched much Miami basketball, but I can see why sys is annoyed by Larranaga's use of him. The number of possessions where he barely touches the ball is infuriating.

The Shockers are being killed by the Canes and the schedulemakers. Sad really.

I've always said that Angel does not have good style. At this point, I have no choice but to downgrade. He has bad style. Apologies to all of the Angel fans here.

yes, infuriating, that's the right word for it.

If there was some legendary Irish basketball player, his style would resemble Angel's. Kinda leprechaunish.

Miami has done a great job having Angel stand still in the corner this second half.

Started 1-14 FGs with 9 TOs and they just do go away.

Mia was just kicking their butt.

Gotta love March Madness.

Compare to how SFA attacked defensive pressure and used their best player.
