The was an epic comeback, monumental collapse. I'm not sure which it was more of.

Once again a team in this tournament completely panicked under pressure.

Also, Syracuse seems more about a talented team turning it on at the right time than anything. I mean, there are still a bunch of 4-5 star top 100 players on that roster. They don't bring in McDonald's AAs all the time, but still plenty of talent.

The game totally changed when Syracuse picked up full court with ~8 ish(?) minutes left. It took UVA 5 minutes at the start of the game to figure out the zone, but after that they got lots of easy looks and built the lead. The press changed everything and then Virginia panicked and forgot how to get into the middle of the zone once they were stuck in the half court.

This is the tournament of teams not handling presses. Its been amazing how much pressure has caused teams not just to struggle, but to absolutely fall apart.

do you think it's a side effect of shortening the shot clock? i really liked someone's (nicname or sys) idea a while back to shorten to 8 seconds to get to half court to speed up the game
