Also, Stallings look to me like what the ceiling will be for K-State basketball if oscar stays long term at K-State. If he gets us back to the tournament next year and locks up a future here, it will be very Stallings-esque.

Exactly.  Get down 10, battle back to within 2.  Have 3 possessions to tie / take the lead.  Miss two 2 point jumpers, then on the third possession shoot a 3 to take the lead, but miss it.  From that point on they gave up a 14-0 run and the game is over.  Felt very KSU like.

When searching for reasons why Vandy was completely inept at feeding their 7-footers, I read the of comments from irate Vandy fans (http://www.anchorofgold.com/2016/3/15/11243132/2016-ncaa-tournament-first-four-vanderbilt-wichita-state-results-recap#comments). Many wanted Stallings out years ago and he keeps hanging around.
