"I remain wholly committed to continuing the progress we have made and firmly believe that we are moving in a positive direction," K-State basketball coach said. "We were one of the youngest teams in the Big 12 this past season and I think we are very excited about the future prospects for our program.""Over the last 24 hours, that's really been the only disappointment," K-State coach said. "We were very disappointed in the fact that we didn't make the NIT tournament.""After a thorough review of our men's basketball program, it was clear that there are good things happening and enough progress being made that it is only prudent to give K-State coach and his staff more time to continue the building process," K-State AD said in a statement."All I've been concerned about has been our players," K-State coach said. "That's who we're concerned about - our players and the direction they are going."
How amazing would fatty's video pleading for us to make the nit have been?
I don't want to try and look it up. But if we destroy OSU and lose by KU by one we have good chance to be the highest ranked kenpom team not to make the tournament ever.

We came in with the goal to get in the NCAA. The only opportunity we have now is to win four in a row. If we win three, we’re pushing it and maybe there’s some talk

Is the Vegas 16 better than the CBI?
The CBI selects 16 teams that are not selected for the NCAA Tournament or the National Invitation Tournament[1] (NIT).
The 2016 Vegas 16 tournament is a single-elimination tournament of 16 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I teams that did not participate in the NCAA Tournament, the NIT, the College Basketball Invitational, or the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament.
