1st installment of Big 12 4 Factors for 2016! Keep in mind, numbers are pretty crazy because of the small sample size.

Terrible shooters and we're actually pretty good at not turning it over, seems like oscar might want to run the floor instead of waiting for Hopper to take a guarded 30 footer with 1 second on the shot clock

14-64 from 3pt ( 21.9%)

Those are numbers for a 4-5 win team in B12. 
Gotta be more like 48% eFG, 1.05-1.06 PPP and 33-34% from 3pt

A lot of ridiculous looking numbers only 3 games in; ie. only 3 teams have a positive PPP differential right now.

For example, Baylor setting the pace with the league's best offense and also the worst (and very terrible) defense.

Thats a lot better, but still crazy. If we can find a way to knock down some threes and lock down on the 2pt defense we can get into the meat of the league and find that bubble life.

Big big week. Both games are projected as grinders. Win both and a good chance our projected conference record is 8-10, having us firmly on bubble town USA.

I just don't  see the Cats having enough on the floor leadership to be able to make it to 6 wins.  Thus no tourney for us.  Our upperclassmen can't put it together.  Stokes can't seem to shoot again.  Leaning on Brown and Wade to carry us is not going to work long term.  Hurt, Wes, and hopper need to pick it up and be consistent every game.  I hope I eat my words.  If they can keep the freshman around long enough so they can become the leaders in the future(which history shows is not probably likely), the future looks pretty okay if they can get some help at the center spot.
