Are they playing with Foals? If so you should go, but skip Silversun Pickups

Third Eye Blind at Liberty Hall last night.  Pretty damn enjoyable!

Indeed. I've seen them play about a half dozen times now, longest set I've been in attendance for so far. Their new tune was a pleasant surprise as well, and those smoke ring cannons

My IRL reaction to the smoke ring cannons:      :surprised: :excited:

That was only my first 3EB show but I liked it enough to look them up next time they're in the area.

GNR at Arrowhead.  This has potential to range somewhere from total shitshow to v. good.  I might actually go if I can get my hands on reasonably priced tickets.

That was my main concern.  I plan on youtubing clips of their shows leading up to KC to see if he still has a voice left and if he's sane or not and they can perform well together.

Neither has Perry Ferrell's but I still loved the dysfunctional mess of a Jane's Addiction show from Buzz Beach ball a few years back

Really enjoyed him violently throwing his mic across stage and walking off whilst Dave just sat down on the edge of the stage and kept playing like, "Welp, there he goes again. Better sit here and do something musical for a few minutes so there isn't a riot."

WOW! What a show. Last night was awesome. He walked out to Sleep. Dream Wake up., so I was fully torqued before he ever sang or played a note.

I'm going to a 40th anniversary recreation of The Band's movie "The Last Waltz" in NOLA during JazzFest weekend, played by a ton of all-star rocker guys.
http://www.nola.com/music/index.ssf/2016/03/the_last_waltz_the_band_warren.html

It's during JazzFest weekend and a lot of the guys from the original movie will be playing at JazzFest (which ends at 7 pm), so I expect a ton of sweet cameos including old studs who were actually in the movie (Neil Young, Van Morrison, Dr. John, etc.) and also new studs who just love The Band and are playing JazzFest (My Morning Jacket, etc.).

Saw Old Crow Medicine Show the other day for the third time. Best concert yet. And their opener was amazing as well. Sadly I hadn't heard of him beforehand. Kids name is Parker Millsap, look up his newest album, great stuff*.

Car Seat Headrest was really good!

They came up at the very end of our former mayor's podcast with the sonicsgate guys, who picked one of their songs to be the outro music.  And I recognized their name from this thread!  http://kiroradio.com/listen/10005030
