There’s a new concert venue being opened in Omaha called Steelhouse and the first show there is the killers in may and we got tickets yesterday. Fleet foxes is coming next and may go to that one as well if it’s a cool venue. I rarely go to concerts anymore because of oldness. But I think both the bands mentioned can now be classified as old person bands so it’s acceptable.

Yes agreed. If it happens after the sun goes down it’s too late at night.

Nice, I'd like to see the killers. KC is really getting the shaft this year. I use an app called Songkick that tells me when bands I like are in the area. I constantly get alerts about bands playing in Omaha and St Lou. Lots of big bands are just consistently skipping KC these days.

I saw them the last time right when Sam’s Town was released over in Council Bluffs Iowa. Also GA tickets (not old person).

Salina added shows from Jason Isbell, Ben Folds, and Trombone Shorty over the last week.  The Stiefel is prob the best in the business for such a small town.

Innings Fest ruled. 2nd day was pretty chilly which was a bummer since I went to Arizona to listen to jams and be warm, but whatever.  Everyone was really good and I honestly enjoyed every set, but here are my final ratings.

Eddie Vedder (i'm a total fanboy, but we got pretty close and it was amaze) Stay out of here Rusty  :shakesfist:
Head and the Heart - just awesome live
The Revivalists
Green Day - Billy Joe still looks and sounds 27. Great show
Offspring - the surprise of the weekend. I thought they might be fun, but they were really fun.
Mt Joy- These dudes rocked.
Glorious Sons - these guys were really good too. I'd heard a few of their songs before, but they were impressive live
Mumford - he was fine
Black Crows - only caught a couple of songs prob should have stayed for more, but wanted to get closer for Green Day. Should be higher
Weezer - They were fine, only caught a few songs

Weezer is coming through OKC in June, I'm probably going to go check them out.  I like them, not love them, but it'll probably be fun.

So far this summer, I have Maha Festival on the docket as the big banger this summer.  A non Profit music festival in Askarben Village in Omaha. Gonna go up and stay with a few good buddies.
https://mahafestival.com/lineup/

Then also purchased a two day pass to Boulevardia because why not and it's cheap. It also seems like a neat way for a little staycation.
https://boulevardia.com/explore/music/

We also got Zach Bryan tickets in ICT this August so that should be fun.

I am not counting all of the concerts I have to work this summer because that would be cheating.

I will also be in San Francisco for a few days this summer so hoping to hit up The Filmore.

Also seeing the Bad Friends comedy tour when they come through town with some buddies. It's Bobby Lee and Andrew Santino so that should be good.

I bought tickets to see Matchbox Twenty this summer and I couldn’t be more happy about it.

The most underrated band of the late 90’s/early 00’s? Probably.
