I realize I'm almost 100 games over .500 in my lifetime which is pretty neat
Which means I guess that you're not even of legal drinking age yet..
I don't think he understands, that the younger a person is, the more impressive this stat becomes.
I understand that in terms of football tradition, your team's success is very recent. I will grant you that under Snyder you've been good many years; he's a helluva coach. But I also will grant you that under every other coach you've ever had, you've sucked.
I still don't think this is hitting home. Lets say the cats played 13 games every year. For a 20 year old to have witnessed those cats sit 100 games above 500, they'd need a record of 230-30, very impressive. Now, say they were younger still. For a 16 year old to say that their team would have to have gone 204-4: unheard of.
Hope this helps.
Yeah - you guys are trying to fit a square peg in a round hole... and no, I'm not talking about Choo-Choo and my sister.
Say I was 5 years old and a team went 100-5 during my lifetime, yes, that's good. But in reality, the previous 5 years, you were 5-100... not so good.
From an argument standpoint, if you clowns aren't going to respect Arkansas for what they did in the SWC - or any other time or sport for that matter - we're sure as hell not going to give you credit for something a 16 year old has seen in his lifetime.
