Cheered our Yokohama DeNA BayStars against the Tokyo Yakult Swallows today at Yokohama Family Ballpark. Pretty good time!

We sat in the visitors section.  One amazing thing is that they won't let you wear home team gear in the visitors section and vice versa. They will make you take off your Stars shirt or turn inside out.

The Swallows fans all use mini umbrellas for coordinated chanting.

We were very fortunate to sit behind this super fan. They have coordinated songs for everything and unique songs for every player and sing them non stop when the player is at bat. This guy knew all the words and sang them all at the top of his lungs all game long.

its an impending demographic apocalypse. they call it "the Big Problem". The gov has been trying a bunch of things to raise the birth rate but no dice.

I had raw horse at a bar Saturday.

raw horse review: very hemoglobin-y. very chewy. I think these slices were too big. it didn't really break down when chewed, so I just formed it into a sphere for swallowing.

flavor was most like lean bluefin tuna sashimi, which is probably why they like it. I don't have any evidence that "they" like it though because none of the Japanese people I was with tried it.
