Nope. Neither are things one can just get off a couch and do. Shooting and hiking are both done by millions a year.

To say shooting an elk is harder than a hike is laughable. Finding and tracking would the hardest part. Not the shooting of a large animal.

I've done a 14er. I was sore for about a week after, and some toenails turned black and later fell off. Overall, I'd say it was pretty easy.
