After looking at you guys plates I realized I'm like an 8 year old at Thanksgiving.  My food don't be touching and it's not slopped with gravy all over.

KU cousins opted out of eating with us, but instead went to Perkins in Lawrence and ATE IN. They had plexiglass between all the booths!

What are other gE'rs favorite Thanksgiving foods?

I like stuffing soaked in gravy, pecan pie and pumpkin pie. I'm ambivalent about other thanksgiving foods.

I think I mention this every year but I dislike almost all thanksgiving food. potatoes are ok but turkey gravy is the lowest form of gravy. that said I can cook the living crap out of it maxing out its potential.

If i'm being honest, all gravy is pretty gross. I mean, its fine I guess, but it just seems completely unnecessary. Even the word gravy is pretty gross.

I love turkey and I love Thanksgiving leftovers. To change it up I usually make turkey gumbo a day or two after Thanksgiving

Same. I'm going to make turkey soup this year with leftovers. I also smoke a whole or half ham every holiday. Then I strip it and take the bone and simmer for a couple of hours to make a broth for amazing ham bone soup. Its delish.

Hope everyone enjoys getting their green bean casserole on like a true citizen of the central plains. Thankful for gE!
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.
